From their musical influences namely: Incubus, Dishwalla, Lifehouse, Coldplay, Gin Blossoms and Collective Soul they came up with songs about their experiences in life, love and what not's. Each lyric carefully written with veracity akin to Kinetic Daze - a fresh and energetic sound that never ceases to amaze its listeners. The result, ordinary experiences turned into songs with melodic spur that makes listeners stop, listen and want more of their music.
Their 2005 hits "Sayang Lang" and "Watching the Sun", gained considerable airplays over popular Metro Manila pop stations and landed number 4 in KINSE OPM countdown of Jam 88.3. One song after the other, their originals captured the interests of the 90s alternative rock afficionados, gathering a humble fan base along the way. As Kinetic Daze grace every possible venue in town, they carefully claimed a spot in the Philippine independent music industry.
In March 2005, they guested at the MTV Siesta performing their song "She's so Fine". That same year they were also at Jam 88.3's Jam Sessions for an hour-long live studio performance. And recently, they hit the big stafe when they were picked to be part of some of the biggest musical events in the country - Fete Dela Musique (2005-2007), JAM 88.3 Music Fest (2006), San Miguel Octoberfest (2006), and UPLB Feb Fair (2006).
Kinetic Daze recently released their debut album entitled "soundtrip". It features 12 all-original pinoy alternative songs. The album includes their first single Alay, the song which sent them to the RX Indie Ground "Artist of the Year" award in 2007. Their latest song "Dont Wanna Lose" was released along with a music video which can be seen in youtube and other local music video channels. Theit their 3rd single "Kasama" out on indie slots in radio stations, the band continues to promote local indie alternative music for everyone to go on soundtrippin'.
