After over a year of mixing and matching members via Philmusic forums, Fight Monday made its debut at 6 UG in June 14, 2008. Featuring mostly original songs, Fight Monday played all over the metropolis while trying to solidify its sound. Cha Cruz replaced the original drummer in March, in time for the debut demo recording during the summer of 2009.
The debut demo was launched last June 24, once again at 6 UG and released for free to the public. The band's website, fightmonday.multiply.com is slowly gaining more and more members.
Along the way, Fight Monday helped establish NaSa Musiko, an independent non-profit organization which aims to unite local artists, encouraging them to use their talents to serve the country by being involved in various socio-political causes. Fight Monday has also launched the Tunog Pinoy project, giving away free copies of their demo with every purchase of other local independent albums in select shops and productions.
Fight Monday's first single "Digmaan", was selected as NU 107's In The Raw Standout Track of the Week for July 6 to 12, 2009.
