Beer Funk Rap BeeR was formed in late 2008, when members Beer and Berns were on the verge of forming a band that consists of unexclusive genres blended into their fold. Sharing the same enthusiasm of performing and writing originals they bumped into Gian to play the drums and Patrick to handle the guitar duties. Varying from the styles Hip-hop/Rap, Rock, and New Wave, BeeR has performed at various venues around the Metro, Club Dredd, Sazi's(formerly Mayric's) and Al's Bar in Paranaque just to name a few. Beer's recent achievement was winning the grand prize of Manila Ocean Park's "The Band Stand", sponsored by known companies like San Miguel Brewery, Sony Music Philippines, MYX (Your Choice, Your Music), Bobson, Wave 89.1, Jam 88.3 and 103.5 Max FM. This event has helped them to further enhance their skills in music writing and arranging.
