Attapulgyte Alternative Rock Manila We're attapulgyte band. We used to be attapulgite, but when our songs were bein played thru an AM Radio station, the dj didnt know how to pronounce tha band name. So we changed it to attapulgyte making it simpler. The band started out in 1995. We were very, very young at that time. JR was the leader of that band who was in grade six elementary level that time. He was introduced to jed1 and was impressed by his ability to play all the eraserheads songs. And so the band was formed. Years have passed, and the band found ourselves playing for free on weddeing parties and school programs. After a decade, the band started making it big by playeing in mayrics, saguijo, and other popular gig places. The first song composed by the band was entitled "fack youth (pacute)". This was a waste of time as the band didn't really like it and never played the song again and tried forget how the song goes. In 1998, the members were now in 4th yr high, JR made his very 1st song: c u smyl. The band really loved the song and started recording it in 2001.
